Salt Series
Salt Series is a minimalist two-dimensional art produced by Australian artist and photographer, Katie Wade. Working out of her Newcastle studio, Katie uses mixed media on timber to achieve her signature textured designs. All pieces are layered with plaster and then painted, sanded and moulded to sculpt a balance between course and soft surfaces. Salt Series are original one-of-a-kind artworks.
